v1.1.0-alpha.2

alpha

Adds host key verification and SSH agent support, and redacts credentials from errors.

Security

  • Credentials are redacted from errors reported about the location.
  • The device’s host key is verified. It can be given with host_key, or read from the file set with known_hosts_file, which defaults to ~/.ssh/known_hosts. insecure_ignore_host_key accepts any host key.

New

  • The SSH agent is used automatically when SSH_AUTH_SOCK is set.
  • Connector options are described by a schema.

Fixes

  • private_key_passphrase is now applied correctly when unlocking a private key.

v1.1.0-alpha.1

alpha

First alpha release of the RouterOS integration.

New

  • Back up the text export of a RouterOS device configuration as a .rsc file with the routeros+export protocol.
  • Back up a RouterOS system backup with the routeros+backup protocol.
  • Restore a .rsc text export with the routeros protocol. The dry_run option evaluates the file without applying it.
  • Connect over SSH with a password or a private key, optionally protected by a passphrase.
